We believe great care starts with great communication, and that includes being upfront about costs and how we handle insurance.
We’re a private pay (out-of-network) practice that doesn’t bill insurance directly, and that’s on purpose.
How it Works
Pay for your visit at the time of service (or enroll in our membership) using credit, debit, HSA, or FSA
Submit the superbill we provide to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
We know that private pay healthcare can feel like a leap if you’re used to medical offices billing insurance on your behalf. If you’re unsure whether our payment model will work for you, reach out.
We don’t bill any insurance providers directly, but most of our patients do receive partial reimbursement through their PPO or out-of-network coverage. We’ll provide a detailed superbill you can submit to your insurer.
Yes! Most services at EmpowerHER are HSA/FSA eligible.
It’s easier than you think. After your visit, we’ll give you an itemized receipt (a superbill) with all the codes your insurance company needs. You’ll submit that to your insurance provider—often through an app or online portal.
The best way to find out is to call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
"Do I have out-of-network benefits for preventive or specialty care? What percentage is reimbursed?"
Due to Federal Regulations, we are unable to provide care for those who have state-sponsored healthcare coverage. We’re sorry!
Yes! Many of our patients come to us for long-term support, whether it’s managing menopause, improving mental health, or feeling more confident in their body. Because we don’t rely on insurance, we can offer longer visits, quicker communication, and more personalized care every step of the way.
